Breeder in Fl _ Old English Sheepdogs

Testimonies From Just a Few Of Our New Puppy Owners

I had been searching for an 0ES for about two years without any luck until one day I went to the public library and found a new listing I hadn’t seen before so I figured “why not” let’s do it and make the call… Maybe this will be the one to lead me to an OES.

My phone called proved me right! I spoke with Lorna Bellamy the owner/ breeder at Gulf Coast 0ES. We had a long conversation at which time she indicated there was going to be a litter of puppies due early in the spring was I interested …oh “Yes”. Price of the puppy was discussed and excepted by me.

Lorna discussed in detail the selling agreement and took time to answer any questions I had. The agreement came in the mail a few days later I immediately signed ,attached my deposit check and mailed it back. Lorna confirmed confirmation of my documents I was on my road to get my OES!

During the weeks that followed Lorna was in communication with me, providing health status of the pending litter. She knew this was a “special event in my life“ and kept me informed.

The big day finally arrived in on April 7, 2020 Maggie came into this world!

Additionally Lorna prepared a beautiful portfolio with Maggie’s medical papers, health certificates as well as other pertinent documents. By doing so she actually prepared a “baby book” for me where I now have all Maggie’s paperwork in one place brochures and lists of various organizations were also included for me to review.

In summary the professionalism and dedication Lorna has developed in her business reflects a person of honesty, integrity, a sincere and honest love to the OES breed, strong inner work standards and outstanding customer service to her client base.

Lorna, you have my utmost gratitude and admiration for everything you did to work with me to get “a new forever friend” – you will always be a part of Maggie’s journey.

Should others wish to follow my path to locate an OES breeder I believe it would be beneficial to contact this wonderful lady, Lorna Bellamy to help you make your wishes come true too! Mine did!

With all of our love,
Maggie Mae and Mommy Patty

When deciding to add an OES to our family, my husband checked out several puppy sites, but was worried about how safe they were. When hubby had the chance to communicate with Lorna and Brad, we immediately let everything flow and we are huge believers that “When something is for you, there’s nothing that can change otherwise”.

Lorna was easy to contact, very professional, kind and answered all questions. She made all processes secure and easy for us. Thanks to her we have a new healthy and beautiful baby boy and are having so much fun. She impressed us with all the veterinary documentation and all our baby boy needed.

Thank you Lorna and Brad!,

I highly recommend Gulf Coast OES breeders. First let me say I’ve never owned an OES before but have never been without a fur baby in my over 50 years of life. Either full breed or rescue mutt, I just love dogs. (Cats too).

It was always a dream to have an OES in my life, but couldn’t ever afford one (time and/or money) until recently. A lot of research was put into the decision including the breeder.

Lorna is a perfect breeder fit for me. She was always available to answer questions or allow me to FaceTime our Abbey in the first 8 weeks. As we are approaching the first birthday, Lorna has been available for further questions and recommendations about growth, grooming, food and treat choices and heat cycle to name a few.

Abbey is the perfect fit for our family. Abbey joined us ready in many aspects. Not only was she properly cared for by a vet but also by her momma and Lorna. Abbey had learned to quiet herself at night with toys; be content when I left her (she likes classical baby music – thank you, Alexa); and plays well with other pups and human friends. It has been obvious that Abbey was gently exposed to certain things like balls, obstacles, a Florida storm, children, etc. as she likes to explore and doesn’t scare easily.

Abbey enjoys learning and obedience training has been simple for her. When I am intentional about her training, she picks up commands quickly. She also likes showing me what she can do – give hugs, catch a ball from a long distance or find a particular toy (bunny is favorite).

I’m sure other OES pups do a lot of these things, but it’s an excellent breeder who takes time to give them the first 8 weeks head start with careful considerations, gently exposing to various of new things and lots of love. I hope Lorna keeps breeding OES puppies. We need more breeders like her.
